What we do

A full repair shop and a tire shop, under one roof.

Most places do one or the other. Doing both is why a flat tire and a check engine light do not have to become two separate trips.

01

Complete auto repair

General repair and diagnosis on cars, trucks and SUVs. The work gets explained before it gets done, and priced before you agree to it.

02

Tires, retail and wholesale

Half of what we do, and it is right there in our name. We stock and fit tires for walk-in customers and supply the trade at wholesale.

03

Tire fitting and puncture repair

Flat repaired, refitted and balanced, and your spare put back properly where it belongs rather than left in the trunk.

04

TPMS service

Tire pressure monitoring sensors diagnosed and repaired so the warning light goes out and stays out.

05

Oil changes and maintenance

Routine servicing kept quick and simple. Call ahead for an appointment and we will have you in and back out.

06

Rims and wheels

New rims sourced and fitted, with honest advice on what actually suits your car and how to keep them looking right.

07

Suspension and steering

Subframes, steering racks and front end work. The heavier jobs a lot of chain shops will not take on.

08

Engine work

Diagnosis and repair under the hood, from leaks and hoses through to the jobs that need the car up on the lift for a while.

The jobs a chain shop turns away.

Subframes, steering racks, front end rebuilds and engine work. These are the repairs that need a car on the lift for more than an afternoon, and they are a large part of what comes through the door here.

It is also why customers keep mentioning the same thing in their reviews: the work gets explained first. You find out what is wrong, what it will take, and what it will cost, and then you decide.

Retail and wholesale

Tires are half the name, and half the business.

The shop started life in July 1995 as Ron's Wholesale Tire Service, and tires are still what a lot of people come here for. We fit for walk-in customers and supply the trade at wholesale prices.

Southland Auto Repair in Stanton is a gem! Eliot, the owner, is honest, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his customers. I brought in my Honda Pilot for an oil change and TPMS repair, and he had me safely back on the road in no time. The service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced. Eliot explained everything clearly and made sure I felt confident driving away. It's rare to find a shop that combines skill with genuine customer care. Southland does both. I'm super happy with the experience and will definitely be returning.

Who are these guys? You will feel like family the minute you walk in. Both gentlemen that helped me were quick to respond. I went in with a punctured tire. Before I knew it, my tire was fixed and installed on my vehicle. My spare was properly put back where it belonged. At that point, I realized that we hadn't discussed price. When I asked how much, I was shocked, they made me feel like family yet again. I give them 5's all across the board.

Absolutely fantastic service! I recently went to Southland to have new rims installed, and I couldn't be happier. From the moment I walked in, Elliot was incredibly welcoming and professional. They took the time to make sure I chose the perfect rims to match my car and gave helpful advice on maintenance to keep them looking great. The installation was quick, but they didn't rush through any details. Pricing was fair, and I never felt pressured into any extra services.

The shop

Thirty years on Industrial Way.

Southland opened in July 1995 as Ron's Wholesale Tire Service, supplying trade and retail customers across north Orange County. The tire side is still here, and a full repair shop grew up around it.

These days it is Eliot that most customers deal with. If you read through the reviews, the pattern is hard to miss: people mention being walked through the problem before any work starts, and being surprised at the bill in the right direction.

It is a NAPA AutoCare shop, open six days a week, and it is the kind of place where the same customers keep coming back and sending their families in too.
